It's Coming Together!

There are many things that take a while to accomplish. There are different parts that need to be taken care of first before the whole process is complete. Once you start doing different things, you realize that everything is slowly coming together. Things don't need to be done quickly, they need to be done right. Whatever it is that you are trying to accomplish, take it slow and everything will soon fall into place.

Dont Stop Believing!

If you are faced with adversity, dont give up. Tell youself that you can do it and believe in youself. There will be times when you may think that it is impossible to accomplish something, but find it inside yourself to fight and never give up.

3 Quick Steps!

Having a healthy heart is very important. As we get older our heart will start to slow down. We can keep our heart healthy by doing very simple things. The three quick steps are: 1. Drink Green Tea, 2. Get 8 Hours of Sleep, 3. Cook like an Italian. All of these steps are very straight forward and anyone can do them, so there should be no excuse.

Team Unity!

Baseball season is going to be starting soon and this year it is a little harder for all of us on the team to pay league fees. So, we are going to do a couple different fundraisers to raise money that will go towards our league fess. It is a struggle out there for a lot of people and playing baseball is so much fun and I would hate to see anyone not be able to play. I have played competitive baseball my whole life , and now I am playing city league. It is still competitive, but it is more laid back and everyone on our team gets along great! We had a meeting tonight at Pietro's Pizza, where we talked about the upcoming season and different fundraising opportunities. Surprisingly everyone had really good ideas and was very excited. Our team is called the Royals and we are all good players but we don't have any cocky one's on the team. It isn't about how good you are, it is about having a good time and also still trying to win, but letting everyone get playing time. I am very excited for the upcoming season and I know it will be a great one.

Drink Tea!

Tea is one of the best beverages you can drink. It is so healthy for you and it is known as the, " wonder drug." Tea is prepared from linder leaves, leaf buds and tender stalks of different varieties of the warm weather evergreen known as camellia sinensis. There are many different types of tea and they are all good for you in different ways. Drinking tea can : help prevent blood clotting, help stimulate the immune system, help neutralize enzymes that aid in the growth of tumors, help lower cholesterol levels, and help deactivate cancer promoters. There is never really a bad time or setting to drink a cup of tea. It is very relaxing for your body and also very soothing on your throat. I try to drink tea as much as possible and my favorite time to drink it is when I am reading or writing.

Sports Competition!

I have been involved in sports my whole life and I love it. Competition in sports is what it is all about. You practice hard so that when it becomes game time you are ready. There are a lot of ups and downs in sports, because you can't always do good every time. The important thing is that you keep trying and put everything you got into doing your best. It is not about if you win or lose, it is about how hard you try. Some people are naturally gifted in athletics and others have to really work at it. No matter what sport it is the competition concept is still the same. Two teams are playing against each other trying to get the victory. When the winner is decided everyone on each team should not have any regret because they gave it their all.

Cold Weather!

Most people do not like cold weather, but I actually don't mind it. It is almost Winter time and the days are getting shorter and the temperature is changing. Just because it is cold, it doesn't mean that you cant enjoy yourself. You could go to the mountain and snowboard or ski with some friends, go tubing, bundle up and go on a walk, stay inside and have a fire and drink some hot tea or coco.
Everyone needs to be positive during the Winter and find alternative things to do. No matter what you are doing, you can still make it fun! No matter what time of the year it is, be positive and enjoy every moment that you have. Go out and buy a nice pair of gloves and a hat to keep you warm. This winter do something that you have not done before and make the best of it.

Never give up!

Today is Sunday which means, "football." There have been some great games on today, but the best one that I saw was the Giants vs the Chargers. New York pretty much had control in the game. Phillip Rivers the quarterback of San Diego had two interceptions in the game and one was at the end when they were behind a touchdown. The Chargers ended up stopping the Giants that next drive and Phillip Rivers got a chance for redemption. They got the ball with 2:03 left in the game and Rivers drove his team down the field and completed an 18 yard touchdown with seconds left in the game. San Diego won the game 21 to 20. After the interception he could have gave up, but he believed in himself and his team and they ended up getting the victory.
There are going to be times in life when you make mistakes. Do not get down on yourself, keep your head up and believe in your abilities.
" It does not matter how many times you get knocked down, what matters is that you keep getting up." -Brandon Zornado
