Find A Way!

I know it's no fun when you don't feel good. But try to find a way to not think about it and make yourself happy somehow. Everyone gets sick at times in their lives, but the one's that stay sick longer are the ones that don't do anything about it.

It's about that time!

Baseball season is right around the corner. Spring training is going on now in Arizona and Florida. All the teams are preparing for the season and figuring out who will make the big roster and who will be in the minors. Baseball is such a great sport and it is so much fun to go watch a game in the spring time or the summer when then sun is out and you can spell the freshness of the cut grass on the field. Baseball is something I love and it makes me happy.

Don't go to bed mad!

Many things throughout the day can cause use to become mad. There is no way that we can all be happy 24/7 but it is very important to have a positive outlook on all situations and do your best to not stay mad. Life is short and it is not meant to waist, it is meant to accomplish things and enjoy. When it is the evening time and you are getting ready for bed, forget about all the problems you may have or any reasons that you may be mad. Think of something that makes you happy and carry it through your sleep. You will feel much better when you wake up in the morning and you will be ready to start the day with a positive attitude.

It's Fat Tuesday!

Happy Fat Tuesday or Mardi Gras, which ever one you prefer. Today is a day when you can eat pretty much anything with no guilt. If you want to have a few drinks, then that is fine too. Tomorrow is when lent starts for Catholics and that means it starts for me. Tonight I am going to Chevy's for Happy Hour and then to the Blazer game. I know what I will be giving up for Lent and I will stick to it. Let this be a day of no blame on yourself for anything you eat or drink. Have a great day and enjoy the weather.

Change!

Change is going to happen in every one's life. There is no way to get around it, because we can't predict the future. Change can either be good or it can be bad. I however always tell myself that it will be better more times than not. We shouldn't be afraid of change, because it is apart of life. It is ok to experience new things, it might take a while to get accustomed to them but after awhile it will seem natural. Have an open mind to everything and expect the unexpected. Life is such a wonderful thing and at the end of the day we should all be thankful for everything in it.

No Pain No Gain!

Today I was at the gym doing my workout and I was in the middle of a set. I was on my fifth repetition and I became tired, I could have just ended that set with 5 reps but I pushed myself to get 10. After I finished I was happy that I finished the full set and didn't give up in the middle just because I was a little winded. This is just one example, but I know that everyone has day's when they just want to give up on something and half-ass it. Fight through the struggle and it will be rewarding once you have finished. You will endure pain, but you will be thankful you did it!

it matters that you finish." -Brandon Zornado

New Year's Resolutions!

New Year's Eve is tomorrow, which means it is the last day before the new year of 2010. Each year people always make resolutions that they end up not following through with all the way. This year, how about we make goals for ourselves that we can reach. If you set too high of goals, then you might get discouraged and become let down. Make some goals to better your health and help you save some money throughout these hard times. Have fun with your goals and enjoy them. They are not meant to torture you and make your life worse, they are to make it better and help you feel good about yourself. I hope that everyone has a wonderful new year's eve tomorrow and that all of their wishes come true.

" Believe in yourself, dont give up on something you want."

The "Golden Rule"

The " Golden Rule" is, "do onto other's as you wish they would do onto you." The rule should always apply, but especially right now during the Holiday's. We need to be thankful of everything we have and be kind to everyone else out there in the world. I know it can be a very hectic time, but that is no excuse to be grumpy and not be in a good mood. There is so much to enjoy this time of the year and I really get upset when I see someone that looks like they are not enjoying themselves. I have done some promotions this month and I have talked to a lot of different people. I have noticed that many people do not seem happy and they are never smiling. I always like to smile and make other's feel good. So when you come in contact with someone, be happy and be thankful for everything you have.

Wishful thinking!

Tonight my girlfriend and I watched a Christmas movie called, "Christmas Clause." It is about a hard working lawyer who is a wife and mother of three. She does not have enough time in the day to get everything done and she is so focused on everything else in life but her own. She runs into an old friend who is very successful and seems to have a wonderful life. When she is at the mall with her girls, they go to see Santa and she is asked what she wants for Christmas. She wishes to have the life of her friend that she ran into. Her wish is granted and she is forced to find the true meaning of her old life and what is important in it. The movie is great and I suggest watching it.
Don't get caught up in everything else in life. Of course we all want to have a good career, but work is work and it should not take over who you are. Family is the important thing, and being there for your kids and spouse is what it is all about. I know that when I am married and have kids I will always put them first because I will love them and want to be involved with them as much as possible. I don't want the important things in life to pass on by.

" If you only focus on one thing, other great one's may slip on by."

My bio

Hello,
My name is Brandon and I am not like most 23 year old guys. I have experienced a lot in my life and I believe in making every moment a positive one. All people have a vision of what they want to do when they grow up and I myself have wanted to be many different things. One day I will get an idea of something that I want to be or do in my life and I will convince myself that it is going to happen. I believe in dreaming big and having goals to accomplish. I am not the kind of person to stay home and watch " Why is America fat?" shows. I am the type of person that goes out and tries to make a difference every day. My life is never a dull moment and I have had many things happen that I would love to talk about in my future blogs. In life you can either look at things in a positive or a negative way. I like to use the analogy, " Is your glass half full or half empty?" In my life the glass is always half full.
